Either Superide or Superide Select is included on most lift systems. Superide Select Remote (SSR) reservoir shocks are sold separately. Contrary to what others think, a gas-charged shock won’t essentially ride firmer than the hydraulic shock. Ride quality is actually influenced by valving. There are several benefits in using a gas-pressurized monotube shock. Primary benefits are a more accurate valving and a lesser fading because of a decrease in oil temperature and foaming.
